TIM BARNSLEY

Tim Barnsley is a multi-award winning photographer, cinematographer, film maker and creative.

His career began as an assistant cameraman working on Australian tv drama series with renowned cinematographer Louis Irving ACS. This lead to working on large scale tv productions both local to Australia and internationally.

Tim graduated from the Australian Film, Television & Radio School with a Graduate Diploma of Cinematography, as well as earned awards of distinction. He then began a journey into Cinematography that has traversed international locations over the last 13 years. This creative endeavour included collaborations on projects that were internationally regarded, including winning 6 Australian Cinematographers Society Awards. This also included a Golden Tripod in the Music Video Category and a nomination to the prestigious Golden Tadpole at Cameraimage for his graduation film, Inferno.

From 2013-2014, Tim was engaged to shoot 2 seasons of the Vanuatu based tv series Love Patrol, where he worked with director Peter Walker and local crew to create the politically motivated police drama.

In 2016 Tim relocated to Los Angeles and during this time, Tim wrote and directed multiple music videos for LA indie group Winslow, made commercials and corporate content with LA creative agency Collier Simon, and continued to create fine art photography.

More recently, Tim has been shooting architectural and real estate photography, video editing, and writing magazine content.
